I am currently a Senior Consultant affiliated with ThotSpots, Inc.

Recently, I came off a two and a half year stint where I directed the growth of a Java/JavaScript team from 9 developers to 25. I acted as both the Java Principle Engineer and the hiring manager. (Next time, I’d be interested in getting involved even earlier.)

Before that, I have been an independent consultant, an entrepreneur, a lecturer and a coach covering all aspects of building and deploying enterprise-level software. My experience is mostly in e-commerce, accounting, manufacturing, retail, banking, supply-chain domains, and vendor management. I am the author of dozens of published articles, and I have traveled the world as a lecturer, trainer and troubleshooter. One of my specialties is the methodical refactoring of legacy code.
